A map prototype: search and panel in action

I build demonstrations from layouts so the team can walk through a complete flow, from opening the map to selecting a station.

Try the example

Demonstration reconstruction. Original designs and data are under NDA. These interactive examples were made for the portfolio: layouts, names, values and diagrams have been changed. They explain the decisions without reproducing the product.

Walk through to the station panel

Open the map, search for a fictional station and select a result.

Demonstration reconstruction · fictional data and a new layout. All actions are local.

Map ready for a demonstration

Discuss the sequence of actions

The map depends on transitions as well as screen states: search expands, results respond to input and selection opens a panel. The prototype shows these transitions as they happen.

Give the agent a scenario, then check the behavior

I provide scenarios, designs and annotations to an agent for the coded build. I verify the resulting flow and refine the interface before showing the team. In my experience of these sessions, this makes the sequence easier to discuss.

Outcome

The prototype is used in demos. It shows initialization, search and a station panel. Next, I plan to agree code-reuse conditions with a frontend developer. The effect on approval time has not been measured.

Other stories

The map: find a station, then use a service

I separated station status, zones and service access, and designed search, connection parameters and data requests with explicit error and retry paths.

Design Hub: from a scenario to a development task

I built a local tool linking user stories, design work and team questions. Changes made after a manual Jira transfer are flagged separately.

Local components and layout checks

I used AI to assemble components and find discrepancies. I made structure and correction decisions in the context of the product.

Explain the network through a slide sequence

For an exhibition presentation, I structured a story about the network and an additional V-RS layer, paying particular attention to what the map claims.
